Like Mary, many times we have to take a step of faith in the dark so we can celebrate in the light. Mary's walk of faith in darkness and doubt was transformed as she discovered the dawn of a new beginning when she saw the stone rolled away revealing an empty tomb and a Risen Lord (John 20:1-18).

Following Jesus--He Walks With Us
In one of the most intriguing and meaningful stories in scripture, the Risen Lord appears to two disciples walking along the Road to Emmaus, who do not recognize that it is Jesus walking with them, until only later when Jesus is revealed in the breaking of bread at the Inn and vanishes from their midst as they suddenly realize his identity and say "did not our hearts burn within us" (Luke 24:13-36)podcast
